Steven has some useful advice for me on writing about RSS. I think I'm on top of it now - I'm working on the theory of trying to be relatively non-technical, and using a glossary for the techie terms. Trying to focus on applications and benefits, rather than specifications (although I've got a bit of a discussion of the difference between RSS 0.91 and 1.0 (at least as I understand it) that probably needs to be chopped out).
